School Tours and Programs
Reservations for groups of 10+ students must be made in writing at least four weeks prior to your visit. See the on-line Tour Reservation form to sign up your group.
Docent guided tours are offered Tuesday - Thursday, October 6 - November 19, 2009; December 1 - December 17, 2009; January 5 - May 20, 2010. Tour reservations require a $25.00 check deposit. This will be refunded upon arrival for the tour. Should a group not arrive for their tour without a minimum 7-day cancellation, the $25.00 will be forfeited.
Both docent guided and self guided tours are offered free of charge to students under age 16.
Chaperones are free under these conditions:
One chaperone is free for every five students in grades 1-10.Self Guided Tours
One chaperone is free for every ten students in grades 11- 12.
Extra adults pay $8 each.
You can guide your class through the museum on your own from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays and Fridays, and from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm Tuesday through Thursday. These tours do require a reservation if they include more than 10 students.

General Museum Tour
Grades K-1: Scavenger Hunt - Students will have fun exploring the museum with a docent using
clues to find presidential images and objects.
